GERIATRIC NURSING ASSISTANT CLASSES (GNA)

Our geriatric nursing assistant classes are designed to prepare nursing assistants to administer care to elderly patients in different healthcare facilities. A myriad of skills is to be introduced to our students according to our outcome-based curriculum. Students are also honed to possess qualities and values that set their services apart. The GNA examination composes of two sections, Skills and Written. Review classes are available at our school to prepare students for the entire examination process.

Registration Requirements
- Copy of government-issued identification card
- Copy of Social Security card.
- One of the following required: High school diploma, GED Test Scores.
- A physical examination performed by a physician or nurse practitioner within one year of the enrollment is required. TB test or chest x-ray done within one year is also required. If taking the program in the months of November through March, the student will need documentation of a flu shot.

Note that the result of CJIS Fingerprinting performed may prevent admission to a clinical facility or certification by the board of nursing.
